We wanted to thank all of the runners who participated in the Falmouth Road Race on Aug 20th, 2017. Thank you for running and also raising money for Calmer Choice. As usual, it was an amazing day in Falmouth and we were so grateful to be part of over 12,800 runners. Thanks to the Falmouth Road Race, our team and all of the donors. Also, thanks to The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod for sharing their booth with us at the Health and Fitness Expo!

Calmer Choice had the honor of speaking at the 10th annual Mindfulness in Education Conference at Tufts University this weekend (http://www.mindfuled.org/columns/2017-conference-information/. Our workshop was in 'Secular Mindfulness in Public School' and presented by Executive Director Fiona Jensen, Program Director Adria Kennedy and Director of School and Community-Based Programming Katie Medlar. Calmer Choice team was recognized yesterday at the State House as a finalist in the area of "Excellence in Innovation" for the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network's Nonprofit Awareness Day. It is an honor and a privilege to be doing this very important work. We had an amazing day at the Tour de Barnstable bike race yesterday! After many days of rain, the sun came out for the start of the race. Thank you to everyone who rode in the race as well as donors and supporters. Also, a HUGE thank you to the Tour de Barnstable for putting the whole race together as well as Calmer Choice board member Michaela Herlihy for organizing our team!
