On Monday, January 23rd, Calmer Choice had the honor of speaking at the State House for legislators and staff members from across the Commonwealth about our very important work on Cape Cod. Many thanks to Rep.Timothy Whelan and the Cape & Islands legislative delegation for hosting this event. Cheryl Bartlett, former Massachusetts Public Health Commissioner and Calmer Choice Advisory Board Member, was on hand to speak about the value of our program. Much of the discussion was centered on the shared state-wide issue of opiate abuse and the role Calmer Choice plays in addressing it.
